Parking
The lot at 1800 Central Ave transitioned to paid parking in October 2025. We validate parking for up to 3 hours — more than enough for any experience.
On-Site Lot (Validated)
Upon arrival, scan the QR code or text the number on the signage to initiate your parking session (you’ll need your license plate number and phone number). At check-in, ask our staff to validate your parking electronically. You’re covered for up to 3 hours.
Nearby Paid Lots
Two additional paid lots are located less than 2 blocks away from our shop. Street parking is also available throughout the surrounding area along Central Avenue.
Rideshare
Uber/Lyft drop-off is easy — we’re right on Central Ave in Plaza Midwood. Just search for 1800 Central Ave.
Do NOT use the Harris Teeter lot — they will tow. We mean it!
Weekend parking took you a little further away than you’d like? Try JUMP bikes as an alternative! Request a JUMP ride
Social District
Social districts are contiguous areas in which people can walk with open, to-go containers of alcoholic beverages. Wicks & Whiskers has opted into Plaza Midwood’s social district. Drinks purchased from participating businesses in the district are welcome during the kandle experience. Beverages must be in containers featuring the social district logo.
The kittens, however, are too young to drink.
